Cancellation or suspension of service

Should you wish to make a cancellation, you may do so in line with the Terms of Business.

In some instances it may become necessary for Care Dynamics to suspend services to the Service User. Examples of instances where this may occur include:

  • Verbal harassment, physical or sexual assault upon a staff member by the service user or a member of their staff or household

  • Where we believe we do not have the skills necessary to provide the correct service

  • Where the service user does not provide a safe working environment for staff members to carry out their duties

  • When our staff member is refused access to the service user

  • Non-payment by the client

  • In the unlikely event of us being unable to provide cover we will, where possible, endeavour to give 24 hours notice

Notice for the withdrawal of service will be given both in writing and verbally to the appropriate person in charge.

Cover for Sickness and Holidays

Our efforts in recruiting and retention ensure that we are able to provide a sufficient pool of available staff to cover most absences. Our systems assists us in matching experience and qualifications to enable us to provide a replacement in the majority of cases. All service users will be informed of any changes to their healthcare / support worker. In the unlikely event of us being unable to provide cover, we will endeavour to give 24 hours’ notice.

Timesheets

For each assignment, staff members are required to submit a completed timesheet. The timesheet will include the staff member’s name and the service user’s name and address. The date, start and finish time of the assignment and mileage (where applicable) will be shown on a daily basis and will give a weekly total. Clients are asked to sign the timesheet at each assignment and also at the end of the week and a copy will be left with the Client. By signing the timesheet the responsible individual will commit to the Terms of Business of Care Dynamics Ltd as printed on the back of each timesheet.
